CICOD’s Past Development Work from 2002 to 2016

CICOD has implemented various projects during this period covering such areas as Social Cash Transfers; Livelihoods Recovery for Social Cash Transfer Beneficiaries; Social Economic and Political Empowerment of Women; Peri Urban household based Water Sanitation and Hygiene; Peri Urban School based Water Sanitation and Hygiene; Biodiversity and Ecosystems Conservation; Livelihood Security; Afforestation and Agroforestry; School Managed Nutrition; Agricultural Production and Marketing; Elimination of Child Labour; Community Based Monitoring (Kalondolondo); Informal Settlement Upgrading Project; Malaria Prevention in Maternal Mothers; Adult Literacy Learning Materials Development as well as Education research, governance and advocacy

Reaching 

CICOD is currently reaching out to 50,000 households with a population of 230,000 people with long term development projects. CICOD has reached out to 200,000 households with a population of 1,000,000 people from its inception in 2002.
